Blindfire is Dan Kelly, Joe Gonzalez, Will Cook, Eddie Klavin, and Felipe Phillips.
Dan, Joe, Will, and Eddie are soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center recovering from injuries ranging from a roadside bomb blast to a high speed vehicle impact. Felipe is a drummer from the D.C. area recruited into the band. Blindfire developed from their mutual passion for music, and as an outgrowth of Musicorps, a rehabilitative music program at Walter Reed for injured combat veterans.
Dan Kelly played guitar and sang before joining the Army, and is Blindfire’s lead singer.
Joe Gonzalez, as a founding member of Bloodthrone, also had a music background prior to joining the Army, and plays guitar and sings backup vocals in Blindfire.
Will Cook began playing guitar at Walter Reed, and plays guitar in Blindfire.
Felipe Phillips is a versatile drummer who joined the band as its resident beatmaster.
Eddie Klavin sang and played guitar prior to joining the Army, and picked up the bass at Walter Reed to fill the final slot in Blindfire’s lineup as bassist and backup vocals.
